- Each course is designed so that participants experience the nature and beauty of Keene and the KSC campus. Each race will start at KSC's famous "Arch" where Appian Way meets Main Street.
- The 1-mile fun run will guide runners across campus, along the scenic Ashuelot River, and back to the Arches.
- The 5K run will take runners across campus, over the Ashuelot River, past Joyce Athletic Fields along the Rail Trail, then will follow the Ashuelot River around the Athletic Fields on Krif Road, and back to campus - culminating back at the Arches.
About the Rail Trail: The trail begins as an asphalt path that passes through the campus of Keene State College. It crosses a secluded trestle on the Ashuelot River and then takes a pedestrian bridge over busy NH Route 12/101. The packed gravel here becomes ballast, dirt, and sand a mile south of the bridge.
